We are pleased to announce The Law Office of John Dalton Diversity Scholarship for 2022. The Law Office of John Dalton Diversity Scholarship promotes diversity within the profession for Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, and Pacific Islander students. The scholarship will award $1000 to a law school student. Applicants must be currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited law school in the United States.

For consideration, please complete the online application via the link below. The application includes a 300-500 words essay. For this year’s scholarship contest, we are asking law students to submit an essay about why they decided to become a lawyer and how they plan to use their skills to bring justice to the community.

Eligibility

  • Must be currently enrolled or accepted in an accredited law school in the U.S.
  • Must have at least one birth parent who is a member of one of the following minority groups: Black/African American, Hispanic, Native North American, Pacific Islander

Deadline

Submit your essay by July 1st, 2023. One winner will be selected by email on July 15th, 2023.
